Before the year comes to a close, I thought I’d send our second annual year-in-review, ask a few questions, and say thanks for subscribing!
It’s been another productive year here at Skipped HQ. We now have over 10,000 subscribers (wowza!), and Teen Vogue republished a couple of our interviews. The Washington Post also just gave us an unexpected shoutout. Pretty cool!
All in all, I sent out over 40 interviews with journalists and historians. Many of the authors I spoke to have appeared on lists of best books of 2023. Coincidence? Maybe, probably… definitely, but you never know. (BTW, a few weeks back I sent paying subscribers a list of my own favorite books of the year).

There’s a lot more in store for 2024! And I have a couple of questions for you. I’m debating how to cover the election and pondering what types of history to explore in general. Would you mind answering the two quick questions below? I’d be grateful for your help guiding Skipped History next year.
