I'm feeling ill. I was in fact alive then, and I was also rooting for the prisoners. But I never knew Rockefeller was as insidious as he obviously was. And how this mood of retaliation and de-humanization has actually kept on keeping on to the horrific criminal injustice system we have today. I have to get smarter here. It's not enough to have signs on our lawns declaring ourselves to be on the sides of liberal causes. It's way too self-congratulating. This not caring is so systemic it is not funny.
